Shelly L. Taylor

Shelly Lynn Taylor (57), born April 8, 1967, in Pittsburgh, PA died peacefully at home surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Hall, her step-father, Charles Brice and step-brother Coby Hale. The Taylor & Hale families mourn the loss of a beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many. Survivors include her daughter Summer Taylor, soulmate Sean Neizmik, mother Marva Hale, step-father Joseph (Doug), brother, Eugene Hall, sister, Charla Brice, sister, Almitra (Amber) Brice, sister, Yvonne Hampton, brothers, Joseph Hale, Joseph Jr., (Tee), sister, Tonya (Jermone) and Ebony Hale, her Godmother Judy Whitehead and a host of nephews, cousins, and friends. Shelly was a graduate of Bethel Park High School. After graduating, she went to the Pittsburgh Beauty Academy. She loved doing hair. She went on to be a Certified Nurse Assistant, CNA, as she loved working with and serving elderly patients. Later in life, she went to Newark, N.J., where she worked at Newark Airport cleaning planes. She also worked at Pathfinder School as the manager of the kitchen where she prepped meals for the children. She enjoyed roller skating and riding motorcycles and watching Sean and his brothers racing bikes. She would often be seen pulling the bikes with a trailer to support the family's hobbies. She loved music, dancing and traveling, especially with her mom. She would dance to any song that came on and knew the words with her beautiful voice. Most of all she loved Jesus and accepted him as her Lord and Savior at a young age – she was often seen studying the bible and anything she wanted to know more about she would ask Pastor Ramsey. Even in her sickness, she would nod her head about Jesus. She went on a retreat with Sunrise and that was the light of her life. Shelly is going to be sadly missed by everyone with her big wide smile because she loved God and everyone. She was definitely a child of God. The family would like to extend a special Thank you to her good friend, Artie for being there always as well appreciation to Anna Marie and her two other caregivers – Shirley White and Denise. There are no words that can be spoken of the care and affection that Sean gave Shelly – night & day. Shilo her dog will also miss Shelly, as he loved her dearly and never left her side. The family is grateful to everyone for your prayers, calls, words of comfort and affection during this difficult time. “Spread your wings my beautiful daughter”. Friends received Monday, June 24th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the GRIFFITH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5636 Brownsville Road, (at 6th St.) South Park Twp.
