Robert M. LeMaster

On Tuesday, August 31, 2021, Robert M. LeMaster, age 64 of Baldwin Borough was called home to play his greatest gig in heaven. His passing was sudden but peaceful. He left his loving children and grandchildren many words of wisdom that they will treasure. He was a special person. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and his dog Bailey (aka Wolfie). He loved to joke and keep everyone laughing. He enjoyed the outdoors and taking frequent trips with his family. They explored and hiked in many local and national parks. He also loved beach trips to Ocean City to ride the waves and relaxing at Lake Erie. He particularly enjoyed kayaking, hunting and camping. He had a genuine interest and curiosity about the world and different cultures. His travels included Alaska, Italy, United Kingdom, Nevis, Cozumel and Grand Cayman. He was a talented drummer who enjoyed playing in his youth. Of course, he was a music fanatic enjoying many bands including Yes, The Who, Pink Floyd, ELP, and Led Zeppelin. An avid Pittsburgh sports fan, you would catch him in Pittsburgh team gear all year round. He especially rooted for the Steelers and was the proud owner of an original Terrible Towel! He worked at Jefferson Hospital for 29 years where he was highly valued by his co-workers. Rob was born on January 30, 1957 in Pittsburgh, PA. He was a loving partner to his wife of 37 years, Lorie. He leaves behind to celebrate his memory with his wife Lorie, his children: Crystal Ross (Kenny Pokorny), Ben LeMaster and Kayla LeMaster, his grandchildren: Bobby Ross, Sam Ross, Jenna Ross, Jake Ross and Kylee Ross, and his brother R. Richard LeMaster (Barbara). He also leaves behind many loving sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws and nieces and nephews. As a husband, a father, a grandfather and friend, he will be missed and will live in our hearts and memories forever. In lieu of flowers, the family would like to purchase a stone or leaf in Rob’s memory on the Tree of Life at AHN Jefferson Hospital. More information will be forthcoming. Friends will be received Friday, September 3 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the GRIFFITH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5636 Brownsville Road, (at 6th St.) South Park Twp. (412) 655-4600. Funeral Mass will be Saturday, September 4 at 10 am at Our Lady of Hope Parish - Nativity Catholic Church, 5811 Curry Road, South Park Twp.
